A fire destroyed the Birch Drive home of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Doakes well the couple was at the movies last night. The Fire Chief said that faulty electrical wiring is believed to be the cause of the fire. When firemen arrived at the scene the frame of the building was enveloped in flames. The couple's dog Rover was left in the basement of their $150,000 home.
