I am writing to express my interest in a writing position at ESPN. I am a fourth-year Journalism major and have relevant experience from my time as a local sports broadcaster, marketing specialist, And basketball writer. 


Recently, I switched my major from Business-Marketing to Journalism, and since then I have found a passion for writing and reporting that has translated to a dramatic increase in my grades and test scores. I have also found new ways to put my language skills to use by working at a startup called CounselHero. Founded by Turkish data scientists whom I had met from a previous internship, I was recruited as one of the founding members because of my communication, writing, and language skills, as well as knowledge of the American education system. 


I also have recently gotten a job at the Epoch Times working on their local sports broadcast segment. Around the same time I started GoatedNBANews.com as a way to get my coverage and opinions out there, and since then have grown considerably through social media and marketing techniques that I learned at my previous internships. So far I've grown considerably through social media marketing, and I'm continuing to grow with strategic partnerships with other networks as well as other content creator collaborations.


Currently, I'm working on getting my Bachelors degree in Journalism from San Jose State. I believe that already I can be of service to you and that after I graduate I can be even more useful to ESPN's endeavors.
